I was going to leave the bike over night till midday tomorrow so will 15+ hours not be enough for the fuel to evaporate? Plus the room temperature will increase due to heating/outside temp being higher should give it a helping hand. My old set are at another property so will have to get the bike running first before I can even get to the other plugs unless I make a ridiculous round trip for them... The carbs seem to be seated fine and fastened down fine, battery has been on the charger all day but it's spinning the motor at a quicker rate it usually has in the passed so it's got abit more juice than usual!

just leaving it will not always clear out or evaporte whats in the cylinders..so taking the plugs out and cranking it over will be better than to just leave it..least you know there cleared out then..good luck

I'll get on that job then tomorrow afternoon when I'm feeling well enough to tackle the bike again! Will post back up tomorrow to let you guys now how it goes! Appreciate your help!

Sounds like plugs to me.

Plugs....there failing. Thats where my money is probably killed em with all the failed starting from missing something when you first put it back together

Will whack the plugs out today, any way I can possibly reuse them? (I need to use the bike to get to my house and put the old plugs back in)

Not if there shagged..might as well chuck em..there so finnicky when it comes to plugs these bikes..i rekon it will fire up straight away.remember half to full choke..no throttle...good prod on starter...let us know

Whoever said plugs wins! Just a bit of a delayed throttle at low RPMs which is the next thing to fix then off to have some fun! Cheers lads!

Revs like crap until 8k. Drilled the slides and put RO needles in. Pilot screw 2.25 turns out. Any suggestions now haha?

I'd go back to the original needles and put the pilot screws back to original setting as a test... If it cures it, then add them back one at a time until you pin it down.
