NK racing have a dubious reputation.......
Performance wise you are probably strangling the engine by addind the extra length to the exhaust, while I dont know the exact science behind pulse waves and all of that I do know that when were messing around with Exhaust on the dyno length of endcan had more of an effect than bore and header wise the cheapo ebay 4-1 systems created a hellish hole in the RPM that no jetting would get rid off, the Honda 4-2-1 worked very well only being beaten by the BEET system with the balance pipes between the cylinders.....really wanted to try the HRC system but couldnt get hold of one.
Performance wise on a road bike you are limited to an Exhaust (we have covered that), ECU (ignitech or HRC) or engine work.....suppose you could fit the HRC ramair but debatable as to whether it does anything under around 80MPH anyway.
Shed weight is the way forward, Dymags were by far the best performace mod I ever did on my NC.

https://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts ... duct=61898 This should do the job. If pipes that length can work on a cbr600rr I'm sure it can be sorted with some research

Its been a long time since my last update. Have had a quick NSR in and about to turn it around to get a few more funds together to purchase the TYGA front end... £650!!!
I have got a little spray kit set up ready for the engine - Matt Black is still the plan for the bike, so engine will get stripped, cleaned, sprayed and reassembled... The wheels will be sent off to get powder coated Matt Black also in the same time frame. So hopefully I can add some pictures soon!
Stay Tuned!

UPDATE
Bike is now being stripped, and powder coated Matte Black. Really exciting seeing it transform from silver to black, feel like a lot of progress BUT a lot more to go....
Completing a list of everything that I want, will chuck that on here once its full. Onto spraying the rear shock, thinking of making the spring a crazy colour, to spice up the very dark scheme.
Will upload photos soon!

Well a good year and a half later and I still haven't finished the bike... circumstances have changed and now I foresee some more time being spent on this. The plan hasn't changed, although the twin exhaust idea is out the window and I am going to keep the exhaust and silence system standard (all be it stainless steal)... Just trying to get the rest of the TYGA kit for a decent price... No way do I want to pay £800 for the new set!!
Updates will hopefully come monthly now

Just a boring shell still! Once I get workshop space I will be on this updating weekly... I have to fight a motocross mad and mechanic brother and a DIY'er dad for workshop space, safe to say I have been loosing!
Also still on the hunt for a TYGA kit, these brand new are £1000!!

Haha I wish there was a big reveal - the good news is that soon I will be selling a bike that's sitting on the workbench and I have agreed with the old man and brother that I shall be putting this project there!
Fortunately, all this time has allowed me to finalise everything that I need to do and the order to do it all in, so, once I am in, the updates will be coming thick and fast!
