Yeah but are the 35 forks longer then 30 forks, I'd guess they must be to require a spacer to allow yo to fit nc35 yokes and forks to an nc30.

Only reason I need the length of the nc30 fork from spindle to top is to figure out the size of the spacer to machine into the top yoke.

Just adding my ten cents worth to this discussion...

NC30 forks measure 690mm from the centre of the spindle to the top of the stanchion.

The reason you have to play around with custom wheel spacers is that although the leg diameters through the yokes are the same for RVF & 675 yokes the spacing of the fork legs is different - the centre to centre measurement on the 675/Street triple yokes is 200mm, the RVF is something like 204. The 675 yokes do have the same offset as the NC30 at 35mm.

Probably worth considering using 2012-on (radial braked) Street Triple forks as I`m pretty sure that the legs (which measure 720mm from spindle centre to top) are shorter than the Daytona 675 ones. Street Triple yokes have the same fork leg spacing but the offset is only 30mm.

Can I suggest that the obvious setup is either 675 yokes with an appropriate headstock spacer (maybe my NC30 frame/RVF yoke conversion kit?) or custom yokes made to 675 dimensions, then use the original 675 wheel/spindle/spacers/discs etc as that wheel is 6-spoke and a good match for the NC30 rear but being a more modern design is also significantly lighter.

OK, lets make it twenty cents worth...

I have just been measuring up the Street Triple forks that I have to hand so here`s some more info about those as a potential conversion.

If you go for 50/52mm NC30 replica yokes with no headstock adaptor the spacing between the top and bottom yokes will be 155mm. Fitting the Triumph fork legs with 30mm protruding through the top yoke to get the geometry right the yokes will sit exactly on the limits of the 50 & 52mm machined sections of the fork leg leaving you the choice of fitting 50mm clipons above the top yoke or 48mm ones below - happily 48mm handlebars are readily available as they fit GSXRs and CBR600RRs.

Awesome rick thanks for that much appreciated,

unfortunately I think the cost of getting billet nc30 yokes made is more than I was hoping, so probably looking at using 35 yokes with your nc35 spacer and a set of daytona or street triple forks.

Do the 35 and 30 have the same offset?

Hadn't really considered using the 675 yokes as I assumed I'd run into lock stop issues and end up with turning circle problems.

I don`t have any `35 yokes here to measure but I`m pretty sure that the offset is the same as NC30.

I have a Daytona 675 bottom yoke here - I`ll offer it up to an NC30 frame when I have a minute and see if there are any major problems with the lock stops but those kind of issues (if any) are usually pretty easy to resolve.

I don`t know what sort of cost you were quoted, but I have some prototype billet yokes for 675/ST forks in the pipeline - there`s no reason I can`t get a few more sets made if required, they should be about the same price as the NC30 and ZXR sets which are already on my stocklist.

Rick, would you be offering these yokes for the nc35 aswell?

Rick, will u be doing or are u able to make captive spacers for 675 forks in rvf yokes with standard nc wheel?
Cheers

I haven`t done anything about NC35 yokes because both Tyga and SES already produce them - I`ve just tried to fill the gaps in the market with the NC30 and ZXR400L models. I`m sure there`s no reason why my wizard machinist friend (thanks again, Robby) couldn`t produce them if required.

I`ll supply those captive spacers if you can give me accurate dimensions for them.

Hi all
I'am not a mechanic, or expert in custom bike but if i can help someone.
I have done this setup, and i just put SES NC30 yokes for NC35 fork in. NC30 wheel, 675 spindle and custom spacers.
For spacer i have bought NC30 biggest one (i don't remerber if it's right or left) and resize it. that's it !
