Hmmmm
If they're curved and you buy straight you can bet its going to matter. Get the propper part for the job

Was there not mention of fowlers doing them ..Someone posted that as a reply to a post i made looking for them.
I got another airbox with good rubbers so didn't need to source new ones..
I figured if I got stuck was going to try some way of cutting the curved bit and joining them to new bottom bits ..
Or something like that,,

I guess as time goes on it will become more of a problem. Maybe we should talk to Blair and see if he knows somebody who can make them ???

I just bought some FCR's for my 3TJ2 so will be looking at the same problem.
Isn't there a specialist in the UK who can make them?

Rubbers for FCR's are different to the rubbers for CV carbs

Hi All,
I am most likely going to be making some for CB-1 Hondas soon. The guys on another forum organised a group buy so it looks like it will go ahead. But they also sent me the new parts to use as a sample for the mould. Last two on the planet! They will be made from viton and not cheap. I had a bad experience with NBR rubbish (what the standard bits are made of) and I am not going to get burnt wasting money on that crap again. The Yamaha ones are nowhere near as complex as the Honda items so should work out better for price. However, there are not many 3TJs out there and I don't know if I would ever get my money back for the mould cost. Food for thought. If anyone finds some new parts then let me know; it might be worth getting a set to find out the mould cost.
cheers
Blair

I will keep my eyes open. Maybe some will turn up one day.
Are the carb sets you are selling for the CV or FCR carbs?
Because I think mine will need a refurb.
