Middle one for me, sexy as fook and the same colours as the RS250's HRC raced i think?

Seeing bikes like this makes me really want to reconsider spending all that money on racing when i could have a sexy 2 stroke in my life...

Well i spent the rest of the day cleaning, and most of today too  Ive so far resisted the urge to completely strip it firstly because i dont have the space to have another bike in bits and secondly it doesnt really need it. Of course id love to strip it and do the usual zinc plate everything, new this and new that but i wanna ride it this year even if its just for the cadwell weekender so fingers crossed the motor will still run and see this year out then come winter time it may get a proper stripdown along with a engine rebuild.

We all love pictures so heres some of what 13 years laid up does to a honda

Pretty grotty in there but its only surface crud really, the odd brittle and broken hose and the gearbox was full of 2 stroke oil so the oil seal has become dislodged. Had this on my old MC18 and is just a case of removing the oil pump and pushing the seal back in place with a little bit of sealant. Atleast its had proper coolant inside and not just water so it should still be nice and healthy inside.

I havent touched the front end yet so thats next on the list and then to order plugs, battery, oil and air filter and see if the motor runs. Ive a bunch of bits waiting for blasting and powdercoat which will go of this week, wheels will be going red as ive tracked down the original colour scheme for the bike which is this one
