can't get any sense out of my de friends re their 10 year celebration, despite a few enquiring emails. They have a club meeting this coming weekend so I am hoping that some decision will be made. I'm sitting on the fence until next week. If nothing is forth coming then happy to go with CRM plan...

Now I do remember asking EC if he fancied a weekend away to the Nurburgring........

I am going over end of Aug/1st week in Sept on my 650 to do a bit of touring. Eifel region / Nurburgring / Black forest.

I really fancy going to the nurburgring on the FZR400RR while it's still a 400. I reckon my back might just handle a long weekend on it. 300 mile days are no problems. B&B is no problem (know a great little place about 10Km out from the track - pub about a 5 min walk away with a 'nightclub' in the cellar).

Any idea on a specific date?

Belgium/Luxemburg have great roads too........
