No problems.... my NC30 is my first road bike and I'm fairly comfortable with the front brake, I dont really use the back brake until I get to my street where there is a wash of sand across it as you turn into it.... there I'm loving the back brake but on the quiet streets I am trying to push the front brake harder and harder to see where its eventually going to lock up or the tail is going to start lifting (I'm doing this at relatively low speed at the moment).

light brakes are hardly going to make any different to unsprung weight unless you put that heavy swingarm on a diet! It's massively over engineered, which I suppose had to be done as it was one of the first [the first?] bikes to go single sided.
Have you changed the pads, try a set of gen. honda HH pads, I was amazed at the difference in braking force compared to the Kyoto pads I had in before- all on the front tho

kyoto pads? better off putting your foot on the tyre

yes, and similar to the Armstrong pads in the KR1-S too!

I put new pads and a braided line on the rear. It feels more wooden than the old pads and rubber hose. I would say I have less power than before! But that would just be the feel has changed a lot.
