took the bike for a test run and runs perfectly. now doing a bit of cosmetic work. the fuel tank had some really nasty scratches, so decided to do a black/silver theme

the tank painted honda nighthawk pearl black

Hi Mani, I like the work you have been doing and hopefully mine wont be far off working at some point. Bought a bit of a project and have assembled it now and bought some new downpipes as the ones on ebay look no better than mine. Tried starting it last week and it tried to fire but never. I've rebuilt the carbs and done some other bits and bobs but still need to spend a good few hours on her. Just hoping the CDI is fine before shelling out on a new one from abroad. I'll start a thread at some point but most threads on here don't really seem to attract a lot of attention/replies. I hope your bike is running and how you want it. I may have some questions down the line seeing as you seem to be doing the work yourself.
