Got snowed off work today, so I have had a bit of a sort out in my workshop and did a lot of head scratching.
The bike came with a custom 'race' loom running total loss, I have bought a normal 'road' loom to fit just in-case someday it would be used on the road, and I'm not keen on the battery running flat = no go,
I have fitted the loom but have no rectifier to plug in, or coil wiring :-D does anyone have a wiring diagram for the coil wiring from the plug? Ive asked about for a mini loom but no one has replied.
also if anyone has a spare rectifier they would be willing to sell? please do let me know!

Do you have a Haynes manual? There is a nice wiring diagram in there that should get you pointed in the right direction.

A few goodies turned up in the post today...
I fitted the footpegs and decided they look gash...
So instead of this, I am going to remove the 'fold up' system and mount the footpeg solidly to the hangers. Its never going on a track, and never going on the road. if it does then I will simply retro fit original ones.
I have also found where the rectifier plug should be on my loom, shame it has been sliced off

so I'm going to have to find a plug and section of wire from somewhere.

Never going on track or road? Just a display model then?

For the now yes, just a display model. as it will have no lights so will not be road legal, and I have other things for track bikes. though this would be more than capable as it is a race rep, lockwire and all. We shall have to see.
