The UK ones are black and i'm a tart and fancied the shiny ones! :0)

Its still cheaper than I had been prepared to pay so its no great shakes.
It don't matter if i'm fixin' it or ridin' it.

I think for the lower one, being painted is a better bet seeing as the brackets corrode. I figure a layer of paint helps slow down the onset of the radiator's inevitable attempt to return to nature... lol

I ordered a black bottom one from hong kong. Looks same as standard and was only £48 delivered and was marked motorcycle parts sample with value of £8 so no import duty to pay. Fitted on ok with no problems and brackets lined up ok

Customs, what a pain..

At least we can get new replacement parts to keep these little gems running. It was only a few years ago that I remember looking for rads and either found beat up 2nd hand or prohibitivley expensive new ones from the states.

I got it from Radiator Warranty Ebay shop and used the Australia check out, it was somthing like $70 odd AU inc postage, came to something like £47 and with no tax either its a steal...

Oh just seen a listing from them and current exchange rate as of today is £51 delivered

Should also say delivery was mega quick!!! I ordered on the 4th Jan and it was at my door on the 10th

my bottom rad is ok but the top is a little damaged from a previous crash , there is a shop here in Aust that has them made & they sell the top red alone for $490 Au it is 40% larger & curved but man $490 is a lot :o
