I have a couple of this type but they don't have the expanding rubber bit - which I quite like the idea of.

And if you have a spare padock stand.....logic says you should then get something to fill it, doesn't it

Re: Honda rear paddock stand
I have a similar wheeled stand, but it has an expanding O ring to lock it inside the hub.
The RC stand does not have expanding rubber bush but uses an eccentric plastic cam that locks it in the hub.

Re: Honda rear paddock stand
The bearing number is listed quite helpfully on cmsnl, it says the number is 6906 which is handy because you can quote that number and buy bearings much much cheaper than from Honda...who want £20 each! apologies if you already know this and I'm teaching you to suck eggs mind.marcus57 wrote:Stand arrived today , it could do with a new bearing and a coat of powdercoat but I'm really happy with it . Really nice looking and well made .
Just trying to see if I can get hold of the honda decals on top before I pull them off to get it powdercoated .

I may be purchasing a stand like yours this week.

Yeah I was looking at the price they want for the bearings , only down side is that the ec30 stand has a different info label to the nc stand

Re: Honda rear paddock stand
Poor post by me , using my phone as my laptop is dead .
What I should of said , the honda bearings are stupidly expensive and I'm struggling to find the part number for the info sticker on top of the paddock stand , the one on the rc30 is different .

Re: Honda rear paddock stand
Really? in what way is the RC30 stand different? your bearings should be marked with the bearing number, oh and thanks by the way for making me buy one, if I hadn't read your original post then I wouldn't have spent ages searching on ebay for one lol
I got mine for £35 but the paint isn't as good as yours and the postage to me in Jersey will be a killer but those stands do look so much more substantial than any aftermarket paddock stand I've seen.

Re: Honda rear paddock stand
Instead of posting a new thread, I thought I'd just post my question in this one. What's a good rear stand to get for the NC35? Is this one good?

Buy an Australian made stand, postage will be a fair bit from overseas.Rrotz wrote:What's a good rear stand to get for the NC35?
Anderson are good quality and work well: http://www.andersonstands.com/swingarm_stands.htm

I haven't used these guys but they advertise a lot and are very cheap, perhaps a good budget option?
