Oversize (+1mm) NC30 and ZXR400 pistons available:Image

Ok – so following my quest to find some oversize pistons for an NC30 engine overhaul I thought my only option was the JE444 big-bore option….until my attention was drawn to these (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/honda-nc30-rv ... 7675.l2557).

A mixture of phone calls / and e-mails to various people and (as far as I can ascertain) these are no less than a limited run of pistons made to a G-Force design by Omega pistons here in the UK.

Again as far as I can ascertain these are a bore and go option and as they are lighter than the OEM item, will not put extra stress on the crank (as the 444 option apparently can). They come complete with rings (bespoke made in Japan), pins and circlips.

I am now the proud owner of the set that was up for sale on E-bay but having spoken to the guy selling them he still has a limited number of oversize piston sets available for the NC30/RVF/CBR and also the ZXR (IE 3 sets of NC pistons and 4 sets of ZXR400 pistons).

He was going to pump them through E-bay but I have asked him to hold fire and said that I would stick the info on here as I am sure they will go, both giving the 400GB bredrin first dibs and saving him the E-bay hassles.

£649 per set +£25 P&P

If you are interested contact Rob direct with the details below.

Phone preferred: 07527396253 or 07971 5435 859
But e-mail ok if you are somewhere obscure: SunshinePHG@Yahoo.co.uk

:rocks:

NB: - I have no vested interest in the sale of these pistons (already got mine), and haven’t even seen them in the flesh. I am just sharing a potential gem of a discovery with the rest of the forum so do whatever you need to do to check details for yourselves.

£650 for four tiddly pistons and they want £25 shipping! :o

Look very swanky, but then looks aren't too important when the things will be buried in the engine. However, if they perform as good as they look, then give or take the hefty price tag, you're going to be on to a winner.

They cant be that pricey, i spoke to rob last night and the NC ones are all sold. But if there is demand more can be made but im guessing there will be a minimum order of id say 8 sets.
