Why not.

Got the unit back from Steve (thunderace) yesterday, and fitted it today after work.

Very very good work, fully sealed unit, just plug and play essentially.

Image

Pictures really don't do it justice, might get some better ones in the daytime.

Extremely pleased with it
This first image is slightly confusing me... it looks like it's every alternate LED that's lit up? almost like a chessboard-kind of pattern. but I can see that it's when it's not connected and in use.
"Pictures really don't do it justice" so I think I'll have to get one! find out if I like them myself :D
are they easy to remove the stock ones and fit the LED ones for a mechanical idiot like myself? haha

It looks like that because of the pattern on the lens :peace:

The units I make cannot be re-converted so you'd need another unit, but other than that they're plug and play

Edit: I just realised there's a second page! how obvious can a newbie get. haha

You're welcome to send yours but remember I'll need the sub loom with the plug :peace:

Cost, parts plus £20 will do as you're 400GB
So, if we have no idea what a "blanking plug" or the "sub loom with the plug" are, is that bad?
and does that price apply to all on 400GB or was that a promotional thing?

Works out about £37 with parts and return post to 400GB members, I normally charge around £65 :peace:

Don't worry about blanking plug, I make them to fit one of the bulb ports. The sub loom is the bit with a plug at one end and two bulb holders at the other :peace:

okay then, will do!
I'll be working on my RS soon (clutch plates have worn) then it's my brother's birthday, then christmas and I've recently bought a 32GB iPhone 5, so I'm not sure how much money I'll have spare any time soon... as soon as I get a spare hundred quid, I'll definitely get in touch!
cheers!
