Those emulsion tubes look fine. It wouldn't hurt getting the carbs ultrasonically cleaned though. What condition are the diaphragms in???

This weekend i decide to take out my carbs, and inspect them deeply as i can...
I realized that 1 & 3 needle have much more wear than others:

I little time ago i bought 2 3en carb sets for spares, so i take the best 2 needles of them and install them, they were close perfect than the good ones on the carbs....
Then i saw that 1 & 3 springs was 3-4mm longer than others, so replace them with 4 equal springs... A diafram plastic cover #4 has a crack on it, so i replaced with a perfect one.
I cleaned every parts and all passages again...
Set again pilot screw 3 turns out.
Finally, i decided to set the float height again... Someone said that float height it's 13-14mm but this just for 1WG Carbs ... I make own research cause there not to much topics about 3en carbs, but can't find much about them.... As it seems the float height will be 24mm since the 3en carbs are almost the same as 600 3he carbs... Here a post that i found about these carbs:
viewtopic.php?f=35&t=36106 .
Set to 24mm, and put them on the bike..
Then turn it on and it feels ok, I take it for a ride, it was good on low, mid & high Rpms. The problem happens when i go on high rpms and quickly remove the throttle, in the moment that i almost stop it, it feels overrich and it turned off.... Then when i tried to turn it on, was a lot easier than before.... So, there was some improvement, but its not working as it suppose to be...
If anyone knows that float height are wrong or right, please let me know...
Anyone knows where in cant get 3en Repair Manual.?
Cheers!

Where are you in the world ?
If the needles, are worn then the emusion tube could have some wear too, but really you need to dyno it to get it right.

From CR, a little bit long haha...
yeah, you're right.. I was trying changing the needle to see what happens, if it get better... Yeah i think is the best solution, but i want to make it a little ridable, then take it to synchronize and dyno...
Thanks!

With my 3en1 with the jap spec 600 carbs my best results have been with float heights at 25mm and pilot screws 2 or less turns out - this is very much a work in progress though and she is running very rich right now (I think this is due to problems with the carbs tho).

Hi again!
It has been while, to make long history short, i bought a donor 3tj, so i decide to install the engine, carbs, wiring loom, tci from the donor bike that was all 3tj.
Now, she runs good, but still runing rich, because the 3tj carbs has pitted and worn needles..
Anyone knows where i can buy the set of needles and emultion tubes for 3tj?
Regards!

Fowler in Bristol would be my first thought ... you need to give them your frame number before they'll help you though, it's on the V5
