Just a thought, would you be able to removed the threaded part of an old oil filter/s and use that/them if you haven't got any proper nuts that fit?

Ignore that, just realised 1 nut cut in half = 2 nuts, muppet! I blame the kids their driving me nuts today!

I used a big stud extractor to get mine out.

As for FCR carbs, I have a set and have been doing a fair bit of testing with them. I can also give you some detail pics of brackets and linkages if you want. That actually isn't the hardest part. The trickiest bit is finding rubbers to work with the V configuration as you can't use the OE rubbers. Mike N had to have them specially made up.

How about contacting one of the chinese companies that are reproducing the likes of NC30, 23 & 29 rubbers and see if they could make them? I too would be interested in getting brackets and linkages made up as I already have a set of FCR's not yet used

Maybe the company that Rick used to reproduce the hrc stacks will do them? And a group buy on the linkages will for sure reduce the price

My nc30 threaded boss came out relatively easy, just a pair of pliers, mole grips didnt even get a look in.

Anyone got a cbr400 nc23 manual with the torque setting for the cooler centre bolt?
