I have the new decals now, but I will check them against a friends original panel with original decals fitted.

Re: Picture request: Type one NC30
We have now checked them against the originals fitted to the panels.
The are the same size, shape and colour as the originals, I can't see any difference.
One thing we did notice was that our 2 tracings l/r sides were slightly different but the new decals are both the same.
Perhaps it was considered the difference to be minimal as it was 2mm difference in the overall height.
[Not height of the letters, but from the bottom of the "H" to the top of the "N"] i.e 2mm difference at the top of the curve.
I will post a picture some time.

Thats good news, not that any of us will be having some made and infringing on honda's copyright
I take it all colour schemes have the same curve to the honda decal?

I have no idea about the other colour schemes, I have only looked at the UK RL detail.Drunkn Munky wrote:Thats good news, not that any of us will be having some made and infringing on honda's copyright![]()

Another point, I bought the side panel decals from a known supplier and they looked fairly close, but the 2 gold stripes were much too wide.
I then looked at an original panel and found that the gold is painted over to reduce the stripe to the correct size.
Not sure why, but it does seal the edge of the decal
