For handling, a great thing about the 30/35 is how the beam frame goes directly from the head to the swingarm pivot.

But it looks rubbish naked.

As shown on PNS's bike, which genuinely is a nice piece of work btw, there's just far too much space in the middle to be filled. Similar issue on VFR750's.

It might not be to everyone's taste but I reckon that's the best looking 'fightered nc I've ever seen, most of them just look plain wrong.

A nice aftermarket full exhaust system would be a nice improvement since so much of it is on show.

Got any front 3/4 pics?

Although the old slabby GSXR's are famous for the brutal street fighter look, I do quite like the look of the Aprilia Tuono, both the V4 and V twin. I envisage an NC30 or 35 could look a bit like these without making it look naff

Agree! That's a good effort and very close to what could be a decent 'Fightered' NC; it's got an RCV look to it!
Don't like the headlights though; perhaps if they were smaller.
In saying all that though; don't do it! Save up for some panels and get it fully clothed again!

Here's an example on how not to do it:

I am sure that only a few people would like my bike.In my opinion it looks good, not perfect but good enough. For sure it needs a little more money for an exhaust as Cammo said for example and some other things.I like when i rebuild my bike to make my own part as the fiberglass tail or the carbon side panels that are not based to another model. The headlights (Speedy) are the genuine nc30 because i use this bike a lot at night so i wanted something that i can see where i am going.A lot of other bikes headlight would be ok for that but i didn't want a gsxr headlight for example.I enjoyed every day for almost two years that i was trying to make it look good.I made five differt tails and i changed the subframe three times to make a good driving possition.I learned a lot of things making this bike.I had never worked with fiberglass and carbon before.I hadn't painted something before. If you ever have the chance to drive a nc30 with handlebar you'll be suprised to how good it is.So my opinion is to give a try and see how far you can go with your bike.At least you will be happy  .

Super Kudos on making the panels yourself! It's a bit of an art apparently, so for your first attempt it looks very good indeed!
Fair play on the night-time riding, but the NC30 headlights aren't that great when compared to current standards, especially with the standard 60W35 Japanese bulbs; a more modern set up might serve you & look better!

Some might call me a 'purist', but I can appreciate the work people put in to their machines! You've done a fine job and as long as you're happy with it all, that's all that matters! 8-)
