The swingarm and rear subframe arrived back from bead blasting this morning

Cheers Timon :up: you've done a fantastic job on these. Who needs fancy ali subframes when they come up looking this good, and im almost tempted to use the swingarm as it is without annodising :? im sure stephens works RC45 had a bare ali swingarm.

Is that subframe just bead blasted then? No other prep?

just bead blasted at the mo, its going for zinc coating then maybe painted stock silver.

I've been a keen follower of Tim's NC30 rebuild on BCF since he started the thread and he's done some amazing things with that bike. I can see the benefit of zinc coating nuts and bolts but what is the advantage of zinc coating then painting the subframe?
