wasn't the sound coming from the front ? if that's the chain, I've found the problem, you're riding it backwards..
seriously though, I have no idea what it is, sorry. Good Luck.

well, it feels like its coming from the front... then again, im wearing a helmet etc.. so the noise could be from the rer, i cannot exactly tell...its like chain rattling or more like a bag of bolts rattling haha.. its hard to describe.

You've not got a sheep stuck in the spokes have you?
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: rattling noise during low speeds.
check your down pipes the manifold could of worked loose and be rattling around. take your fairing off and grab the fork legs try to pull them back and forwards check for any movement.
also check the springs on your system they can pop off or the U can break if you got springs on your system.
and have some karma for at least trying

Re: rattling noise during low speeds.
Hi, mine kinda pinks under slight load like creaping along in traffc, or pulling off realy slowly (cue loads of giggling) when the oil wants changing. Its been doing it since ive had it, and has never got any worse aslong as the oil is changed regularly.
Maybe worth an oil change to see if it makes any differance?
And FIX THE THROTTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I seen way too many mates killed on bikes, sometimes doing stupid shit and sometimes not, but please dont go and kill yourself because of lazyness eh............
Maybe worth just stripping bike down over the weekend, servicing it properly, change oil and filter, new coolant, lube chain, sort cable runs etc, then slowly put it back together making sure everthing is as good as you can make it.
Cheers
Ian

hi, the oil was changed and so was the oil filter. all brand new. but i will sort the throttle cable out. i need to fix the starter motor as its clicking most of the times when trying to start the bike... and yea my bike does the noise in traffic, and slowly going....and by letting go of the clutch quickly and what not.

Re: rattling noise during low speeds.
Sounds to me, you might need to stop riding the bike for the day and sort out all the problems you have.
Get the fairings off and leave them off for a while until you have checked everything.
You can't keep riding a bike that's making noises, the chains slack, starter clicking etc etc
Just work through it until your happy then stick the fairings on and enjoy it, but keep on top of it.
