That's me, but I'm in the same boat as you- I've no satisfactory way to lift the front end, so I'm saving up for an Abba stand.

haha okay, so i came up with my own little invention on raising the front end of the bike just enough to remove the wheel and forks, this is literally the cheapest way of doing it, if you have a mini car jack lying about and some stone slabs
and it is actually very, VERY stable... doesnt even move side to side at all!

It's too late now but, if you have to do this again, try and find a scrap of wood to lay between the jack and the sump. It's easier than you think to puncture it, and it'll be a whole nother can of worms if you do.

oh. okay, thanks for the advise, i think i will lower it back down and use a folded up towel or something to absorb the force against the sump.

okay here is whats happend to my bearings.....
this is the top bearing..
the bottom bearing was fine. so i removed it, but i found out that my lower bearing inner race is fucked... is there any place that sells them?
i was thinking of buying this.... but this only gives the upper/lower bearings, seals, and upper/lower outer race.. NOT the inner races..
