To anyone else having problems this might help - Mine developed a leak after checking shims on the lowest point of both covers. I ended up fixing it by making a .6mm plastic shims to go under the frontmost for front / rearmost for rear 2 cover bolts (as they bottom out on the shoulder) to give a little more pressure on the gaskets. Did the trick nicely, the leak stopped.
