I had 2 Vipers, 1 of them for 20 years, no thanks.
Dragging clutch, oil leaks, poor lights, stalling, hard to start, stripped mag drive pinion, and slipping kickstart lever.

I don't think there is any getting around it Dave,

the NC's and RC's you own are perect.

Fun, small, light, reliable, no need for kicking them over like 2-smokes, handle well, comfortable if only ridden for short distances, etc etc .............

I can't think of a bike that would be better!!!

That's terrible about it being stolen.. lovely bike to ride though, I wish I could afford one.

I guess for an every-day bike it wouldn't be ideal, kicking over any big cylinder bike is no fun, especially on a cold morning.

Still, the centrifugal clutch is a work of art.

Hmm. Back to the drawing board... i'll think of something! :D

Drew / Moriwaki man has one over here... Beet TI system, FCR carbs, Ohlins rears. Goes like stink and is really comfy to ride.

A new efi CB400 (nc42) is pretty high up on my wanted list, being a lightweight well-mannered steed.

Not sure if they're sold new in the uk, I'm sure some greys will be along sometime soon!

Take a look at my 350 desmo at Stafford which will be on the ducat owners club stand. They are a good bunch and will make anyone feel welcome unlike some stands!
