Re: Can I come back???
OK, started to put things together today. Starting to get an idea of all that I need and what I actually have. Heading over to Rhory's tomorrow and see what he's got that I can have.

Have would be a strong word, buy ( very cheaply ) would be a better word ; )
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

Why don't you just stick the frame in that bag of miracle grow and leave it for a week or two. You never know, it might work!
Too spensiff!!!

New head bearings are in, forks are split, but I need new bushes before fitting the new seals. Hope to have it as a rulling chassis shortly.

Re: Can I come back???
Hello!!! Remember this thread...
We're back on track. Sourced a fwe more bits and the all important heart. Definately is a sssllllooooowwwwwwww build, but I'm well on target for August this year. Still haven't decided on a black frame and swingarm yet...
No photo's or anything, but she'll be on her wheels in no time (end of the month hopefully)

The bits to re-build the forks, swingarm spindle (I'll need to borrow you tool as I can't find mine) rear wheel, Fireblade rear shock, engine and a few more bits.
This project is like a really slow roast ham. Takes ages to cook, but will taste delicious when it's done.
