on the subject of the maxxis, i found found pretty good on the 750. Heated up quick and felt good, i think on a 400 your have to work em a bit harder to get the heat in them

Also on the subject of the Maxxis - a friend done a track day with me and found them great, he was getting right over and the tyres weren't hopping around or anything. I think as DM said, getting them hot is hard on the road, especially on a 400

might have to have a look for some new tyres , got a set of 090's in the garage for the rgv, wonder if they will go on

Started doing a me jobs last night as im on call next week so wont be able to ride it, going to be fitting the new clutch at some point , my clipons & rearsets

dragged the nc out of the garage today as i need to clean it out , gave the nc a quick clean down and i think it looks better without the bodywork fitted.

Stick with the maxxis tyres, you will get used to the feel of em. I used to always use either 090's or diablo H's but i would never change back now. They heat up very quickly and are superb in the dry, average in the wet but hey ho. Have you adjusted the tyre pressures at all.

wallet has been properly emptied now waiting on some freshly rebuilt trick maxton 35 forks , nc35 front spindle , tyga yokes and carbon mudguard.

Got these bits waiting to go on now
