Ok I compared my forks to the CBR900 and they are about cm longer. Minimal difference.

However it was a bit difficult to take accurate measurement and make a photo of it. I measured them at around 70cm. The tape can't follow the curves they make.
The Braided steel ones are quite shorter:

Around 62cm. So I don't think they re any good to either of us. I hope though the SF cables will do the job for me since the CBR forks are 4 cm shorter.
A pleasant surprise was that the fender is identical in size to mine

Which means that I ll give it a nice clean and polish and get rid of it on ebay. Its all plastic and very light though..

you think I can refurbish the forks my self? Get some seal and oil and just do it? How much will it cost me to have them professionally done? How do I see if I can adjust compression, rebound and preload? they only have one adjusting screw at the top. Does this do it all?
They are straight but they look messy. The white mark that you can see here

that looks like a stain is actually a chip.
At least all the other ones that I see on ebay are at least 170 for the forks only.
