from the looks of the pics they could be dis-assembled just like regular carbs and then repositioned a-la V-4. just have to sort the myriad of hoses....

The early injected motogp M1's (after the flatslides) also used this slide setup I believe!
That was our first thought, to use my FCR´s for the fuelinjection. But then i found on Mike Norman´s website the jenvey bodies.

If we can sort out a good path for the dealing with getting the mechanical portion right than we'll use a Microsquirt and a cam sensor to achieve sequintial injection.
I unfortunately spent the last year with the bike in a non running state so I plan to race this year and won't be taking the bike back out of service until it breaks again.
Out of curiosity after reading this thread.. what is the main desire that people want to fit the fuel injection for?
-- Better tuneablity? (how much more power is it expected to produce)
-- Smoothness of engine?
-- Technical challenge?
-- Something else?
Most of these old bikes seem to be track-day bikes.. wouldnt a set up of FCR's be just as good or is the FI route really that much better?
On a road bike I can see advantages but for a track bike are the engines in such high state of tune that FI has advantages?
For Ex ive seen several ZXRs that have the FCR's pushing 80+ bhp but fuel injection isnt commonly persued (theres bound to bikes that have it) as it should be a stack easier to fit FI from an I4 to another I4...
Just wondering what it is hoping to be achived

I'd prefer to never clean a carb again.
It's pretty much as simple as that. The tunability and throttle response of FI would be a secondary benefit.

D, All of the above. Besides, who likes to crank the bike over and over on cold days?

Do you guys get this bike in the UK? 09 and up had 32mm throttle bodies, in a 90 degree v-twin config. How the hell can I get my mitts on two pair of these?

We have the efi model in Oz, not many parts on teh used market yet.
You could always buy new from honda, but I'm guessing even the pricey aftermarket TB's would be cheaper.

I found a fiche online of the throttle body related parts. No price for the TB's themselves, but the injectors were about 250 euro a piece! If you see any being parted out let me know!
The nice thing about these is they are already the correct size, and if I remember correctly, the early VTR250's were basically half of an NC24/30 with chain drive. I believe even the original carburetors for the early models were nearly identical to the NC30.
