I remember the ZXR400 chassis that was fitted with a Blade lump oh must be 8 years ago now, I think the frame cracked after a few trackdays..

Its very rare for one of these conversions to come off well as there are so many unknowns, best person I ever spoke to was a guy running a RS125 Honda chassis with a KTM lump in the European singles championship, there are some right bonkers bikes in that class such as 748 Duc's with a cyclinder blanked and all sorts...

Yup, I remember that one appearing in PB or something similar. Allegedly only one engine mount had to be altered, and the thing hauled in the wrong side of 170...!

As for the single Dukes, one of the mags had a 996RS in it that was blanked off to use single cylinder, but bored to more than half the displacement of the original twin....
