Ok. That is great news too!

I know these Ti caps can be had from greater china...but not in the smallest quantities we would prefer.

Ok bit of an update, ive heard back from PJ engineering and they can supply inlets and outlets to suit the 99.2mm sleeves, only snag is its a minimum of 10 sets.

For those of you that are definatly willing to put their money down for this PM me what you need and i can get the ball rolling.

I know some of you only want the sleeves which is no problem but for those that want inlets and outlets i also need to know the inlet pipe size you need(hopefully i can vary this within the 10 minimum order) and weather or not you need hooks welded to the inlets for spring loaded systems.

I'll also offer to build the cans up for those that dont want to do it although my is not free ;)

Oh will also need to know weather or not you want rivet bands on the ends of the cans.

Just so its clear PJ engineering can also supply baffle tube, packing etc so if you need this let me know.

I should read the Honda section more often,
Tony i was up at carbon mods just a few days before you posted this and was talking to them about the very same can, they must be thinking what the! I was going to get them to show me how to make the can up and do a few myself. If you need anyone to call over and talk directly give me a shout as im using them for my bag supply. Not wanting to step on the guys at PJ but another place worth a look are Birchills.

Nice site chris, bookmarked that one, are they local too?

I have no idea how they intend to make but but mentioned using a mandrel so i guess its just lay'd around that? Fancy having a go?

To be honest I dont think theres going to be enough interest to warrent this, the 15 sleeves are over £500 quid and the minimum of 10 sets of inlets/outlets are £500 so thats a grand, thats not something im willing to shell out if theres no interest in buying them.

I dont even want the finish of the tube perfect, if memory serves me right all the kevlar type cans ive seen have a almost rough texture to them which i quite like, i hate the perfect bling bling shinny finish you get on carbon these days. wouldnt vacume forming the carbon kevlar mix round a mandrel work? your probably get 2 slight seems in it but you could polish that out couldnt you?

Have you seen those strechable carbon/kevlar sleeves you can get? from what i can make out you pull the sleeve over a mandrel of the ID size you need then brush resin into it.

Oh, Ganador system in need of new sleeves.
Atm,alloy wrapped in faux carbon and scuffed.
Not high on the list of priorities, but at the right price????
Must measure.....

Birchills are near Birmingham but carbon mods are 5 min from my work.
Im sure the the non gloss finish is due to the old tube being simply wrapped around a mandrell and then bagged. The textured satin finis is due to the outside being against the relase cloth. This would be super easy to reproduce only needing a tube of the correct inside dia being made.
