I did several trips down the strip the first year I had my NC35 at the 2003 Bulldog Bash. Got the slips somewhere back at home. AFAIK utterly standard save fora Scorpion can. Best time was 13.120 at 104.something I think. On that trip I was up against a 'bus with a lengthened swingarm and what look suspiciously like a NOS bottle. I think he ran a low 10. I beat him off the line though... lol

Was fun at the pod that weekend apart from it being too hot :0
Most were complaining about the vehicles running lower times.
Poison ivy ran well and I managed a 10.6 on the bking.
Stock bike apart from slip on pipes.
Could get a 10.4 in cooler weather :D

For what its worth I did a 13.6 on my stock NC21 back in 1988. Why I remember this stuff I don't know.....
Last weekend did a few runs on the NC30 in Auckland. 13.8 and 102mph. So hard not to bog down off the line. The comment here about revving to 10k sounds about right. Poor old clutch though.

I drag raced each of mine a few times. Never really nailed a perfect launch and was always half a second to a second slower than I should have been on the 60ft time. I think the best time I did was 13.3 at about 105mph, but I managed to trap as high as 107mph on one of the runs. I'm a smaller guy (150lbs) so I think I could get into the mid to high 12's with a perfect launch.
You really need to rev the balls out of it, almost redlining it to keep it from bogging down. I killed the clutch one night doing about 7 passes launching around 10,000rpm. Also switched with my buddy who has a K5 GSXR1000 one time. Managed an 11 second pass at 135mph, that's the fastest run I've ever done on a bike. It was unreal opening it up in 3rd gear.
I have a couple vids doing passes.
