maybe a stupid question but its related to clip ons, the ones on my bike are fine but is there an advantage to fitting after market ones like ses?

Weight reduction, the standard ones are very heavy.

Not sure about the SES units but often the aftermarket ones are 2 piece, so if you bin it you only need to replace the alloy bar, not the whole clipon.

thanks for that ordering some bits later on i keep looking at them so thats another thing added to the list.
