Maybe the genny was draining the battery at the same time, or the lights were on or some other electrical drain?CMSMJ1 wrote:

If in doubt strap a leisure battery to the rear seat.. not sure it'll save you any weight but it'll last a while

CMSMJ1 - Sorry mate but don't know the weight of that its probably not that much lighter
