and to be fair the quality is dead on,the finish is alright but we'll see just how well it lasts out on the road. i think it looks well with the black frame and bodywork.

yeah i've been out with it and it's dead on, i'm a bit twitchy with it on as it's been a while since i've ridden with a damper on ( my castrol bike has one and i had one on another 400 same years ago, both bikes were twitchy at low speeds.) but even with it on it's lowest setting you can fell it doing something, the bike now feels eager to drop into corners and is very responsive when you want it to straighten up coming out of them too.

i tok it a run out some familiar back roads and with the damper on it's middle setting ( 4 of 7 settings ) the bike sat well on the road, tipped in nice and fast and straightened up on request..... nice and fast.

i've still a few things to sort out with it as the fork bracket just touches the speedo on full lock and the damper body rest against the frame or the fairing but with some fettling i'll get it sorted.

the only , how can i put it, draw backs or possible future problems i can see with it ATM is the finish on the rose joint that i have fetted to the fork clamp, i can see the finish letting go if the bike is used in all weathers but apart from that, hey it's a £19.99 damper. f**king bargain and as long as you keep that in mind, result.

looks like a good find then, might have to invest in one, where did you get the bracket for the fork leg?

did he include the rose, or was that another separate order?

ive looked at his other items and hes selling yoshimura rear sets, for just over £30, and brembo calipers for £30 too, ive added him to my favourite sellers - excellent bargains!

Errrr, I very much doubt that they're true yoshi or brembo items!

Cheap steering dampers I have no problems with, cheap calipers are a different story. Each to their own and all...
