Yeah I was very pissed off, I could understand if I was 10dB over but 3dB is nothing, who would have noticed! Trying top get a standad exhaust bought and get booked on for the evening of the 22nd.

Just for future situations, they say that a cold engine makes more noise than a warmed up one. I once failed the noise test at cadwell, 108db with baffles  the tester told me to go a rag it up the road for 20 mins. When I came back it squeeked through at 105.9. Its not a lot but may be worth a crack if its close like yours was. Either that or stuff a tightly rolled pair of socks down the exhaust and hope they dont fly out. Can always pull em out before you go on track ;)

Yeah they noticed the restriction on the back of my licence. I didn't think it would work! We were running late so would've missed the first session anyway. Gonna look at getting an ACU licence for next time - my restriction runs out in September but that still means I'd miss this summer.

You can do trackdays at non MSV tracks on a restricted licence...so why not get yourself to Rockingham for a session?

ACU licence will cost you about £100 all in and once you get it....you may as well come racing eh?

There is only one non-MSV track within easy distance, and I'd rather do Brands anyway/as well.
ACU licence fee is £43, cheapest club membership I have found is Wirral 100 at £10 so that's £53, what else will I need?
