Relay is 86,80€ from Yamaha... So that ticking from it means 'busted'? And what could have caused that?

that relay thing you need for your 3TJ, i'm pretty sure i've got one on a spare wiring loom i have. Not a lot of use to me sitting in a box.

I'll check if i get a chance to make it in the garage tonight.

Why don't you take the whole loom - that way you won't have to sort out the white wiring - probably some botched attempt to rewire the exup servo or get round the 180kmh restriction

Funny thing is there is no 180kmh restriction in portuguese market. The previous owner was a friend and rode it past 200kmh several times. The owner before him bought it new and never messed around with anything on the bike (I know this because we all live 200m from each other and have friends in common). And is it possible to fit a UK loom with my kmh clocks and have no restriction?

Just been to have a look in the garage, i've found the loom but no relays attached. dammit. I'll have a better look around over the weekend and see if i can track it down.

As for the fuses on the back, the loom i have in front of me looks different. I take it all of the bottom connections are bridged to the brown wire.

From top left, mirroring your last picture

1 Red /White 2 Brown 3 Red /Orange 4 Red

5 Red /White 6 Brown 7 Red/Orange 8 Red/Yellow

You can have the remains of the loom if its useful. However I've cut some of the connectors off it and used them on the 600.

Well if you find them and don't need the rest of the loom I'll take it. Thanks a lot. Cheers!

well i actually managed to find the relay today, which is a minor miracle in my garage at the moment. I've also finished with the loom, its pretty much complete apart from the coil and fuel sender plugs have been cut off.

You can have both for the postage costs.

Great I'll have them then for sure! Just came back today from Madrid, drove there on thursday morning. Lovely city, wouldn't advise driving there though, total chaos.

My fuse box has more wires coming from it then the one shown in the picture

Sometimes find that you get a loose wire because of corrsion over the years
