Give us an update Carl when you can.

One thing I was thinking if its new and unregged at all would it pass the EU tests nowadays? Im thinking of all these new regulations that seem to be coming in for emissions etc. I know when you buy a boxed Chinese bike and reg it your self (something I have done) you need to have all the current EU docs and you may still have to do an SVA test. Not sure about a CBR as it would be classed as new/old stock maybe, therefore would be exempt, or would it?

i would of thought it would be age related so you wouldnt get a 59 plate on it . it would be the plate of year of manerfactor . if the bike was made now it would have a 59 on it . i beleave but might be wrong just like my spelling

i was told by a suzuki dearer a few months ago the reason the grey market stopped was to do with the SVA test and most greybikes failing that due to lights or indicators of something.

i stand corrected if it's not the case but it's just what i was told.

i know it wasnt ltd ed or crated/new...old, but there was a guy on the old GRAND DESIGNS who had his favorite bike all cleaned up and then mounted in their lounge on the wall. cant remember what it was tho.

i used to take my 400 to a guy who had an RC45 with all the HRC parts fitted, built new from a crate by him ,with 0 miles and an RC30 with 600 miles on it and he told me when the plans for his house go through he's going to put them in a glass case under the stairs....what a waste.....and all this was said in front of the static caravan he lived out of until the plans were passed.

never found out if he got it sorted as he stopped doing 400's and started trading in CBR600/900 blades..
