cheers for that, very interesting, i haved now bought a k5 rotor, but jus need a stator, does anyone know the k5 part numbers?

Hi guys,

an update to progress for anyone interested, turns out it was the genny to blame, problem solved.

but thanks to CMSMJ1's info and me having no self control to modify my bike also now runs the gsxr 1000 k5 rotor and stator and what a difference it makes!!! the bikes amazing! i didnt have acess to one of the adaptor plates mentioned so i made a totally new generator cover from scratch with all the correct mounts, took around a week to design and manufacture. i would post pics up but dont know how, if anyones interested tell me how and i will.
