Will have a play with the wheels when they get here, 160 will be fine for me.

Kais did all the work on the forks.

Dash is a real bargin in my eyes, was going to pay 4 times as much for a Translogic and this is miles easier to set up. Well need to check all works once can fire up the old girl.

The rear PVM, is that a RC30 fitment 5.5" or have you special ordered them

Ronni
Ask the man above ;)
Quite possibly 5.5 as its possible to run a 180 rear on these with a spacer, well thats if their the same sizes as the PVM's i had off michael.

Those forks do look dead trick, who done the coating on em? Dash is  too, for the money theres nothing better out there.

On the track it is better to run a 165 slick. All 250 race bikes have a 165 race tyre on a 5,5" wheel. I only use a 180 slick when i get them really cheap.
To use a 160 or 165 tyre is better for a 400cc race bike.

Yep, nearly all Oz racers use 165 slicks on the standard 4.5" rear wheel, not a perfect match but it works better than treaded (DOT) tyres.

That's exactly how I'd like a set of rvf forks to look.

Any idea on how much lighter the tyga lower triple clamp is than a stock one?

Nice build Aly.

Dunlop,Pirelli and Bridgestone require the 5,5" for a 165 slick. I think 5,25" or 5,0" will work but
4,5" the tyre is very round.

My mistake, that is right. Pirelli don´t make a 165 slick.
