if this works then good work - but get a new set of the gaskets and do each of the carbs, I'm not sure gasket cement is petrol proof.
I once helped a friend to check her carbs after her Bros only fired on one cylinder above a certain amount of revs. Instant gasket had been used and it was coating to inside of the float chamber with a large dollop in the main jet.
