Project of the day. Re-built the forks, .90 race tech springs, new 10 wt. fork oil, new top bushings, new fork seals and dust seals. 3 day weekend coming up, looking forward to some free garage time.

Not much work tonight. I had to drill and tap the tabs on the swingarm to attach the carbon fiber chainguard. Also, with the steering damper I am using the travel of the damper is short from lock to lock by about 5mm, so I drilled and tapped the steering stops. Not the HRC mod but just as effective.

My tank looked like that so I used a tank sealer kit.
The first bottle out of the kit eats the rust. I left mine in for 24hrs and it went from like that to silver inside.
Quite surprising.

Definitely didn't get much done this weekend, but it's now a roller!

I'm running out of boxes to empty. The "bike in a box" project is in the final phases. Got a few more mechanical items and then the tank and bodywork. Should be fired up and running in the next few weeks. Full frontal assault shots.................
