How do you plan to make it fit? would you need to cut a system to allow the link pipe to connect to the mid section? Or Cut the link pipe so suit?

Not 100% sure yet untill it arrives and I can offer it up. I will more than likely cut my system rather than the link pipe on this system but it really all depends on how it looks when it arrives.

The bike I'm building is going to be a track bike with a daytime MOT so its not pristine so a little bit of cutting is not problem. I have the original can on there at the moment and the insides are falling to bits so I need to do something.

Infact the headers aren't in great condition so I'm not really to bothered if I have to cut them as a trial fit becuase theres a good chance they will need to be replaced in the not to distant future so I can use it as a trial.

Not ever likely to find the rwest of the sytem to match so I'll just have to get it to fit, Should be fun.

Hi all,

I've now recieved the exhaust and it has a JMCA number of 0131 500. Does this relate to anything, I did do a quick search online but there is no information on this.

Any idea's anyone I'd love to find out what this system is.

Thanks

Edd

JMCA is just the Japanese DVLA/VOSa kind of affair. Not a manufacturer..

Yes I know the JMCA is just there noise standard but it look to me like each type of exhuast has its own unique number e.g the number of a moriwaki is different to that on a yamamoto so I gouess this is a test number???

If I'm correct this should mean that you could find out from the JMCA number who the manufactured the exhaust.

I was hoping it was a moriwaki as it looks very similar to one of the Moriwaki exhausts on the second page of the thread but the JMCA number does not tie up.

Cheers

Edd

Just wondered if anyone thought that the current cbr1000rr exhaust would look good with a gull arm??

Yes on the cbr1000 however it would look rubbish on the 29 IMO.

And the fueling would be a nightmare to sort out.

Hi, bought an ART can off eBay, not sure what model it is, the description just said CBR 400 ART exhaust, said it had the 3 bolt fixing, which is suitable for my nc29. Dobyou guys think it will it be ok to fit, not cause any problems if it's for a different model? ( wishing I knew more about the mechanical side)
