looking good mate but how many different colour schemes do you want on that bike lol, also did you drop it as it seems a bit scratched on one side?

also get the drill out and put the line through the swinger, it looks great and gets it out of the way.

I doubt you'll have a problem with the can, my seat unit sits proud of the rear wheel and no one noticed, as long as its quiet enough, my bike failed the street stock sound test, 99db I think but they didnt care even in a noise sensative track like thruxton.

so lets review, when you started this thread you wanted to build a bike on the cheep to go racing and not mind if you dropped it compaired to if you dropped your roady. am I right?

now you've got 2 race bikes and a taken the roady apart to kit the racer out (albeit temporarily).....nice work mate, how you get that past er indoors!

Cheers guys.

Yeah, it is a mulitcoloured mess but I have not got the time or the moolah to get it painted.. It will go as it is and like it!.

The tail panel damage is from when Matty got flicked off and broke his ankle..(get well soon mate) as he donated this and other panels to the cause.. top dude.

I have a drilled swinger on no9 and am not a fan to be honest. Rear brakes are for pulling skids on BMXs anyway!

Good that you reckon I'll be OK with can length..Apart from that I reckon I am good to go. Might make up a tank breather bottle too...but will be no worries.

The lovely wife understands I have cannibalised no9...as I have not got any transport to get to work...so she is sat next to me now! I am working from home you see ;)

have you got all your overflows going into a bottle, I had to do that for Thruxton, got an 0.5L aluminium bottle and cable tied it down near the gear change thing with those 3 pipes going into it.

Not sure if its just an NG thing cos I asked a couple of people if it needed doing before and they all said no but be prepaired incase you need it doing, + it looks kindof cool being ally.

Very generous of Matt that, I too had a very generous offer from a fellow member and without help from 400gb'ers theirs no doubt I wouldnt have got the bike racing....so its all your guys fault

That means you have petrol and oil going into your radiator?

Think spike means all the breather and vent pipes discharging into a catch tank, he'll still have his overflow bottle for the rad.

Swapped the lairy lowers for some other black ones.. Also my mate Grandad painted me some number boards on the tail and tidied it up a touch.
