It is a complete tt-f3 vfr engine, include a hrc modified crankshaft. But without the HRC gearing. It makes 73 at the backwheel. The bike has a HRC loom and cdi of the rvf.

Certainly correct, but only really true if the extra air is getting inside the engine to be ignited. The larger tyga airbox might improve throttle response because of the bigger volume of air available when you crack the throttle open, but it's negligible (in my opinion) whether more air can get in to the engine to create more power (the larger tyga airbox is a great mod though IMO for a lot of riding conditions).
The stock air box shape can also be improved I think to deliver more air into the engine. This sort of tech thinking has come quite a long way since the nc30 parts were designed. Good reading on this sort of thing in this book:

Thick soft foam seal strips are used for this.

Michael,
Just a little curiosity. Is that friend of yours, Luis, from Pontevedra?
Two years ago I bought a rear disc from a spanish guy named Luis who lived in Germany. He was tuning a Hawk, if my memory doesn´t fail, and needed a custom radiator, so I told him to get in touch with you about Gerd´s custom rads, but never got to know if he finally met you. He also knows Thorsten... Anyway Germany is too big for such a coincidence, but you never know.
