...made the most of the freaky weather at the moment. We should be 1-2 meters under snow here, but had the wamest Feb 15th on record this weekend, so instead of getting my skis out I fitted my new battery and did over 200Km on dry roads through the Alps in sunshine and blue skies. 8-)

Crap skiing - but a good day

nice rads.
you need an ABBA stand mate, they make jobs like this a doddle. how are the others getting on with their 400's ? not been on there for a couple of weeks now since it all got a bit political and run by fuckwits.

I've been doing a big load of fuck all with mine, not had any time really but once it warms up a bit and stays a bit lighter at night I'll start back on it. Got myself a vfr800 vtec though instead of the cbr600 :)

have you ? fair play that cbr didnt last long. to be fair the VFR is a much better bike than the early CBR6.
you enjoying it ?

Havent had a chance for a proper play yet but as soon as I test rode it, it was the end of the line for the cbr.
The cbr was meant to be my track/fun bike but the nc30 will.do that job so the 800 is more of a do it all bike for trips away and a bit of commuting etc.
Need to get out on a ride soon though and catch up

Got round to swapping my front forks over so took the ones that came with the bike off ( later type but slightly pitted stanchions and needing new seals) and fitted the overhauled ones I bought.
Also gave all the brakes a good clean and checked replaced pads as needed, fitted the new chain too. ( did the soft link rivets with my home made tool)
Are split links ok to use on the 400's or does it have to be a riveted soft link?
