michael, what series do you race this bike in? as i really need to get over to see it out in anger !

No burnouts with my cb1000. This is only my street bike when we make a bigger tour.
And no series only racing 4 fun.First trackdays and after 2 days a small race.

Great work guys the bike looks very nice and the tank work is most impresssive.
I was only looking at a HRC ally kit tank for the RVF a couple of days ago and your tank looks very close.
Im making panels for my GSXR4 SP at the moment as none are available so im taking a few tips for this post.

OOOOhhhh! I thought you where going RC30(thorsten´s) way , sealing the lowercarb tray agaist the tank, no upper air case. So why didn´t you take moulds from your race setup?

I go Thorsten´s way with the new airbox. Tank is the top of the airbox.
The old one had a upper case.

More air = more power, I like this way of thinking, I wonder how the standard nc carbs would handle a over sized box.

More air = more power: I don´t think so, but when you tune your engine and you want more power you need more air!!
