Thanks hunter will try and contact them at some point. So do you still have your T Scott motor? You still got it in a bike and what was it like to ride?

The procedure is to grind the base of the cam,And build up the rockers with stelite,So no oversize shims.

I'm using standard rockers and oversized shims with mine. The grinds I have mean that I have to use approx. +0.75-1.00mm shims over standard.

The thing about converting OE camshafts to an HRC grind, isn't just the lobe profile though but also the timing and the squish. I only received my oversized shims yesterday, so haven't been able to install them yet and take some accurate measurements, but with the sprockets in their OE position, I couldn't install the cams with 105 lobe centres (mine ended up about 102 i.e 3 deg. advanced). I'm having to get the cams slotted so they can be installed correctly which really jacks up the cost.

I also need to check squish as I think with 105 LC, it's going to be tight, but I'm running a 0.502mm head skim, so it may not be an issue if you have standard height heads.

The only concern with using oversize shims is the possibility they could jump out,
Thats the reason why they build up the rockers.
