Re: Another 'spare' bike
Tried cleaning the dics but they would just not come up very nice.
So I cheated and robbed the very clean ones from the Foggy rep and replaced them with the not so clean ones. That bike is nice but not uber clean.
And heres the result.

And marked up with some F1 style Torque seal.

Its boxed back up now with the matching rear waiting for tyres.

Re: Another 'spare' bike
Pulled my box of brake bits out. Got a blade radial master cylinder in there. No idea if the ratio is any good, will have a closer look later.
The callipers need a good clean up but are in very good condition. I will reuse the seals unless I see something necessitating renewing them.

Re: Another 'spare' bike
Today I have been mostly cleaning brake calipers.
Decided to take the billet 6 pots off the Honda Britain rep and put the oem stock brakes back on after they've been serviced. The billet ones will go onto this trackbike after being serviced.

Re: Another 'spare' bike
Although not much has happened recently these turned up, protective sleeve for the bare braided brake lines and a temporary filter for the cam cover. The plan is to run a catch tank later (and would be needed for race regs).

There we go

But as the rubbers, clips and cables are all here now today I managed to get the almost impossible task of fitting the carbs with a HRC airtray getting in the way done. Had to take the grill out as it was going rusty. That'll not be made from stainless then but it will get a coat of zinc (as will the top rad grill).

The stainless mess I used doesn't rust mate, I've used it as a rad grill too without issues. I may have enough left over for a carb top if you want it.

Got the grills back form the zinc coater which meant I could get the rads on now as well as the HRC overflow bottle.

All fitted and piped up

Re: Another 'spare' bike
Thanks Alex
Managed to get the billet 6 pots back together and on the bike this weekend.
Here they both are after I repainted them with black caliper paint.

Nice and clean now

Pushed the pistons back out, applied some grease then pushed them back in again.

Copper slipped pads and zinc'd retaining pins

All on the bike with the protective wrap on the brake lines

And finally a bit of tart factor

Hey, how long before you can get the bike on a dyno? Interested in what difference the HRC carb conversion gives
