New engine found/ nearly acquired! Should be picking it up next week :D

I've been told its all there, just needs gaskets- so I've bought a set -£69 off of eBay , quite a bit cheaper than I thought! Also got a new filter and oil on its way - all ready for a refresh. I'll check over the new engine once I get it, build it up and pop it in the bike - good thing is I'll have my old engine to compare bits against and chose the best parts, such as the gsxr flywheel conversion etc :-D

I'm quite excited about sorting it out now - and it'll give me a chance to get to know the engine inside out!

A bit more info on the engine.

It belonged to someone who used to race nc's - he stored all his bikes in the basement garage of a London TA centre. The one I have was put back together without gaskets as he had to empty the garage quite quickly!!

It was apparently apart for a refresh.

So anyone know of this guy??!!

The casings all look good as do the engine mounts which often snap in a crash. I'm yet to look any further inside, but hope all is well inside :)
