Thanks mate! Home made, yes. This bike has turned from just being a trackday conversion into a training course in hand made prototype parts :D , and I have learned a lot from it. The subframe required fabrication of 2 sets of tube bending tools, just to get the correct radius for the rear seat support, and the half circle shape top part. My intention now with this bike is to get as close to a "mini MotoGP" as possible with what funds I have.
Lasse, what size (diameter & wall thickness) and type of tubing did you use please? 6061?
You've inspired me to try something similar!

Hi!
I used 7075-T6 18x3 tubing for the subframe. Good luck in your project!

Awaesome work there.
I have it on very good authority that the SP1/2 swingarm design was taken from the dues sided swingarm that was used on a few of the RC45s.

Thanks mate! That seat/tank thingy started life as a Honda RS125 tail, but has been altered almost beyond recognition to fit my RVF. Upper subframe mounts are cut off the main frame, and new mounts are to be welded onto the main frame spars instead...so this is not a "bolt on" unit by any means.
Cheers/

Are you welding that?

Hi!
Yes, I'm cutting up thin-walled stainless 304 pipe into a few different size/shape/angle pieces, and then use these for modelling the shapes I need to clear everything. These will join the Yamamoto system under the lower shock joint.
