I have had zero upadte from my chases of late. Seems they may as well haev disappeared. There are other options, but not at this keen price..

I have not heard anything so don't get the wrong idea, this very well still may be a go. But the dragging of feet has gone on a little too long and I am going to explore other options. Might cost much more in the long run but I need to get the ball rolling on my build!

I just sent this E/M to Sarah, we can hope.
Hi Sarah,
We have received no word or communication from Omega regarding our order for 32 custom +2mm oversize pistons. One of our UK members has tried to reach you by phone and no one answered, message only. Is Omega still in business making pistons? Are we just being ignored as a small order?
I am one member of 400graybike.com, (Technical talk-bikes or computers). There are hundreds of eyes following this order and the service so far.You and engineering should have our specifications.
You are the only person that has tried to reply to date. Please try to make something happen
Thanks,
Jim Granger

E/M reply from Sarah;
Dear sir,
This order was passed over to one of our technical lads (Nikos Douvras), and as far as I was aware, he was drawing up the piston to be made.
I can assure you that none of our customers are ignored, no matter how small the order is.
I’m not sure who is this member is, but we work from 7.00am – 6.00pm (if not later) and we do not have an answering machine facility, so I believe that information to be incorrect.
I will of course chase this order, and would always encourage you to either e-mail myself or call and ask for me, and I will always do my utmost to assist.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information
Kind regards
Miss Sarah Lambert

Hi
Is it too late to get on board with this?
Have been distracted with my S2 rebuild & other stuff for last 18 months, got the S2 registered yesterday.
Bike show tommorow then start collecting bits for NC30.
thanks

I just received this e-mail from Omega (bottom). I have responded to his questions (top). Hopefully this gets thing moving again.
Hello Nikos:
The stock connecting rod OD (pin end) is approximately 19.5mm. The Carrillo rods we use are approximately 24.0mm for the Ti rods and approximately 19.8mm for the steel rods. The width of the Pin End is 14.0mm on all rods. There can be quite a bit of centerline shift from cylinder to cylinder, so be sure to allow for this. Please see the attached drawing that I made a few years ago that shows some more details of the pistons that I had manufactured for our engines. This might help answer more of your questions.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Kind regards,
Mike Norman

Subject: Pistons specification,
Dear Mike
I am sorry for the long delay in contacting you, there was some confusion regarding the ordering of pistons we are making for a Honda NC35 as a group buy, this is now clear to proceed, and I will need some information from you regarding the connecting rod dimensions, (outside diameter and width). As sun as I receive this sizes I will have finalize the design and give you some feedback.
Regards
Nikos Douvras

At long last, it looks like we might be getting started. I think I might have "ruffled Sarah's feathers" a bit. I'll send a thank you to her.
Jon, you can be included when we firm up the final order. The more we have the better the price will be.
