Honda 400's but the girlfriend would have everybody believe it's 400 Honda's, when it's only 32 in reality

take 2 years to complete this project.
the most hard to find is the fairing set, bracket, headlight, and stay bracket.

Here is my nc23 :D
coming off the road in winter to get things done to it
i.e. Re-sprayed, Powder coat wheels, Either polish or powdercoat frame and swing arm.
it hasn't got this can on it anymore its got an mtc can which i chopped down to 8 and half inch and sounds awesome
Also going to be lookin at putting a Garret GT-12 turbo on it over winter

Durkas Rattle Can Job
As Im not busy I thought I would post a picture of my rattle can re painted bike fairings (Tank to be done), its not finished as Im still waiting for some graphics for the front and tail that I was not happy with. The aim was to get as close to a type 7 as possible, as that's what my bike actually is, but with a type 5 paint job.
I never painted anything bigger than a small airfix kit so this as a bit of a challenge, not knowing anything about spray paint. I only really decided to do this because I knocked my bike over in the garden and cracked the offside belly fairing and going to BSB and a classic bike show got me thinking. Rubbing the fairings bullet proof paint and clear coat down with wet & dry seemed to take forever, how it ever scratched in the first place I will never know.. I now have tennis elbow. I also found out my previous design was actually paint and not stickers, a bit of a shock as it looked so close to the original, the only stickers were CBR, Direct Air Intake and the 400 CBR bit on the tail..
I bought some primer from ebay, not the best but was actually better than the Halfords stuff I bought later, wish I had bought the high build stuff. A few cans of Ross White mixed paint from RS paints and finally some Upol Clear coat #1 from Paints4u. For my tank I have bought some 2k clear in a can by Spraymax, dont know what to expect there as far as petrol resistance goes but I will find out. I learnt a lot and wish i could start again as Im sure my painting would be 100% better, even though it still looks ok now.
Decals are by Imageworks but apart from the ones Im waiting for the mid section were extensively reworked by me with a scalpel as they were not as close to the Urban Tiger design as I would have liked, look at the Haynes manual which is close to imageworks graphics sent out and a OEM picture to see where I have made changes where I could.
Finally i added lots of stainless steel/titanium at key points, a new rear brake hose and generally tided the bike up.
Edit: I should add the cost was £109 for the laminated graphics and somewhere around £120 for paint and materials (I think I paid the wages to my local Halfords buying never ending amounts of wet & dry)
Picture taken in the scenic works car park. I will attempt to get it upto the moors for a picture more fitting once the graphics are in place.

Re: Gallery
So everything in that photo, apart from the tank, is rattle-can paint?
